Camp Boddie

With over 800 acres of waterfront property Camp Boddie is your ideal camp destination. The camp offers a variety of merit badges and activities that will keep Scouts of all ages engaged. Our vast waterfront allows us to offer all aquatic merit badges with a separate swimming pool for a more comfortable swimming environment.

Camp Boddie also offers multiple year round programs including a Winter Camp, weekend advancement camps, skills weekends and specialty training programs from the NRA and Red Cross.

Camp Boddie is available for non Scout groups to use either as a meeting center or specialty program. We have hosted local businesses, football teams, JROTC units and specialty camps.

Camp Perry

Camp Charles F. Perry Camp located on the Arroyo Colorado. As an adult leader bringing your Troop to Summer Camp to Camp Perry, you will be providing your Scouts with an experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives. They will advance in Scouting along the trail to Eagle by completing advancement requirements for Tenderfoot, 2nd Class, 1st Class ranks, and by completing merit badges.

Regardless of the Merit Badge classes your Scouts enroll in, Summer Camp at Camp Perry will teach them valuable life skills along with the opportunity to meet other Scouts and have a great time. Camp Perry is inspected and meets the National Camp Standards set forth by the Boy Scouts of America, State of Texas and Cameron County Heath and Safety regulations to operate a youth camps. All of our key staff members are trained through the B.S.A. National Camp School.

Medicine Mountain Scout Ranch

Medicine Mountain Scout Ranch is located on 160 acres of Ponderosa Pine with beautiful open meadows surrounded by 1.3 million acres of National Forest Service land. The combination of its mild climate and 6,100 + elevation renders it virtually mosquito free. Wildlife abounds! Deer, wild turkeys, bald eagles, antelope, some grass snakes, elk, marmots and many other critters are frequently spotted. Mountain lions and bobcats can be seen on occasion. You will find the climate very pleasing. June tends to be on the cool side. Daytime high averages around 75 in early summer, and 85 in late summer. July temperatures can get into the 90's, but at night it generally cools down to good sleeping weather. The humidity is low and there is always a generous supply of fresh mountain air. Lake Alexander's water temperature averages in the high 60's low 70's.

Pamlico Sea Base

The Pamlico Sea Base is a Nationally Accredited High Adventure Base located on the Pamlico River south of Washington, NC. Offering both summer and year round opportunities, the PSB always has someone on the water. The Sea Base offers sea kayaking programs in both overnight and weeklong trips on the outer banks of North Carolina, sailing trips and instruction on the Pamlico River and cycling trips throughout eastern N.C.

Located on the same property as Camp Boddie, the Pamlico Sea Base can provide your older Scouts a memorable experience while your younger Scouts attend summer camp - all in the same location.

Year round programs are also available for non-Scout groups.

Camp Powhatan

Tucked into the valley formed by the Big Macks Creek and Jersey Ridge, Camp Powhatan is the largest Council owned camp in the nation. Whether learning new skills in one of our over 30 merit badge programs, or participating in one of the evening activities, Scouts and Scouters will have fun living the Scout Oath and Law.

The Voyageur trek Program at Camp Powhatan is a 5 day 50 mile-plus canoe trip down the breathtaking New River. Throughout the journey, scouts will learn about the French Canadian Voyageur adventure which served a vital role in the fur trade and exploration of the new world.

The New River Adventure is for thrill seekers looking for a rollercoaster week of fun. This program combines teamwork, leadership and confidence building activities with the skills, and challenge of several high adventure activity.

Camp Davy Crockett

Camp Davy Crockett offers over 40 merit badges, a pool and a lakefront for aquatics, a COPE course for High Adventure and now featuring a new Frontier Camp.

CDC is a tent camping facility that offers a dining hall, shower facilities, trading post, a scenic chapel overlooking the lake and many opportunities for year round camping.

We also offer an internet cafe for adult leaders with wireless connection available.

Overall CDC is a complete Scout camp experience!

Since this is our first Blog post, I thought I would take this opportunity to tell a little bit about what we do. We are an advertising company that focuses on Summer Camps! Our goal is to provide an easy to use website that Scouts, Youth Groups, and fun-seeking people can find the best camp each and every summer. Sounds awesome right?!
