Texas Summer Camp

Camp Charles F. Perry Camp located on the Arroyo Colorado. As an adult leader bringing your Troop to Summer Camp to Camp Perry, you will be providing your Scouts with an experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives. They will advance in Scouting along the trail to Eagle by completing advancement requirements for Tenderfoot, 2nd Class, 1st Class ranks, and by completing merit badges.

Regardless of the Merit Badge classes your Scouts enroll in, Summer Camp at Camp Perry will teach them valuable life skills along with the opportunity to meet other Scouts and have a great time. Camp Perry is inspected and meets the National Camp Standards set forth by the Boy Scouts of America, State of Texas and Cameron County Heath and Safety regulations to operate a youth camps. The weather is amazing during the summer months, and the camp provides a perfect place to spend a week or two.  

There is a wide variety of wildlife deer, wild turkeys, bald eagles, antelope, some grass snakes, elk, marmots to name a few.

Camp Directory Online is a company that focuses on advertising summer camps.  We work with Adventure Camps, Scout Camps, Christian Camps, and Sports Camps.  During the next month or so we are working diligently to update our website and give it a little bit of a facelift.

Great Camp in the Southern Appalachians

Camp Davy Crockett has an amazing 1800+ acre property with over 7 miles of lake shoreline located in upper east Tennessee near Rogersville.  There are numerous programs throughout the summer, as well as many "off-season" program and camping opportunities to take advantage of.

CDC has a pool as well as a lakefront which gives them the ability to offer countless water-based activities.  Some of these include: swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, motorboating, water skiing, lifeguard training, and many more!

Great Business Relationship

The Adventure Guild is a full service adventure company based out of Chattanooga, TN (and so are we!).  The Adventure Guild has some great adventure activities that go on throughout the year.

There is a great rock wall built into a bridge trestle downtown right on the Tennessee River.  "The Walnut Wall" is open on Saturdays and Sundays.  The wall is in a beautiful park with great restaurants and ice cream places.

ZIPStream Aerial Adventures is a brand founded and operated by The Adventure Guild.  "The Guild" builds these courses all over the country.  The flagship course was built in Chattanooga, forming a great partnership between Ruby Falls and The Adventure Guild.  This ZIPStream Aerial Adventure Course has been in full operation since the beginning of May 2010 and has seen more than 12,000 participants in this short time.

The summer of 2011 marks the first year of The Adventure Guild operating week long overnight adventure camps.  There is a lot of information about the Chattanooga Adventure Camp on their Facebook Page.

Medicine Mountain Scout Ranch

The combination of its mild climate and 6,100 + elevation renders it virtually mosquito free. Wildlife abounds! Deer, wild turkeys, bald eagles, antelope, some grass snakes, elk, marmots and many other critters are frequently spotted. Mountain lions and bobcats can be seen on occasion. You will find the climate very pleasing. June tends to be on the cool side. Daytime high averages around 75 in early summer, and 85 in late summer. July temperatures can get into the 90's, but at night it generally cools down to good sleeping weather. The humidity is low and there is always a generous supply of fresh mountain air. Lake Alexander's water temperature averages in the high 60's low 70's.

Pamlico Sea Base

The Pamlico Sea Base is a Nationally Accredited High Adventure Base located on the Pamlico River south of Washington, NC. Offering both summer and year round opportunities, the PSB always has someone on the water.
